and north kerry street lasted for much of the evening wednesday. 11 news reporter jennifer franciotti joins us live from the devastating scene this morning with the very latest. good morning, jen. >> good morning. fire investigators are still looking for a cause, and meanwhile, the red cross is insisting at least 12 people who have been displaced by this fire. this fire did happen on wednesday afternoon. firefighters battled two four-alarm fires on split streets within blocks of one another. the first started on north calhoun street, and it's believed, at least preliminary nearly, that employers from the fire ignited the fire that happened on north kerry street. in all, 11 rowhouses burned, most were vacant. but at this point, we're told that the red cross is assisting six families. >> we need money for clothes, food, i think some diapers. one of the families needed diapers. you know, we got them a hotel. >> there is really not much left at this rowhouse, this section of rowhouses. you can see the huge, gaping hole behind me. as i stand here on the side, it is littered with debris and broke

have started this kind of industrial sabotage and the real motive behind it. jennifer griffin is live for us at the pentagon. what do we know about the virus and where it might have come from? >> reporter: what we know is that it's called stuxnet, it's a real tongue twister. what we now from the security firm is that 60% of the attacks by this worm have taken police inside iran. iranian officials are now saying that their nuclear facility, the one built by the russians has had technical difficulties as a result of this worm and we know that some of the centrifuges at the main facility in iran where they are enriching highly enriched uranium, it has been slowed down. the begs the question, jon, who is behind this cyber attack. it is a cyber attack. it is likely something that was embedded inc into software and t software, yes semens which is a german company sold a lot of software to the iranians that is used in the nuclear program. the question is, was it germany behind it, israel or was it the united states. the united states has a very sophisticated cyber command out at fort meade.

. the trial of the first of two defendants in the assault, torture and murder of jennifer petit and her two daughters. the only survivor of that attack is dr. william petit. he is pushing for the death penalty for both defendants in this case and has become a referendum for the death penalty. they expect to wrap the case today. the defense may need only one day to present its case, just one day. tom lewis from our fox affiliate has our report. we want to warn you, some of the testimony can get graphic. >> reporter: the prosecution is bringing it's final witnesses this morning in the murder case of stephen haze. the defense will get a chance in a day or two to present a defense for a man who admitted killing jennifer petit. one of the defense attorneys for the other defendant in this case came outside the courthouse and said that thinks client did not sodomize 11-year-old makalia. that was very important, the judge had imposed a gag order. now there is a contempt of court hearing whether or not that gag ordered was violated. fire investigators are now on the stand for the prosecution talking
